Las Carlyon Vegas by Peter Price

I note that the debate with regard to the development of Crinnis beach continues on both national and local media. I have heard that some of those residents who are in favour of this development are so in the belief that it will mean the end of the night club at the old Coliseum building. It may be of interest to your readers, to allow them to come to a more informed decision, that the developers Ampersand have planning permission to build a 'Cinema, Concert Hall, Casino Dance Hall, Swimming Pool, and/or Indoor Sports Hall.' as part of their leisure facilities.

In my opinion a 'Casino Dance Hall' is a night club by another name but suggests it will also include a gambling hall.

The fact that the old night club might be going does not automatically mean that another will not rise like some nightmare phoenix in its place.

Not just 'Costa del Carlyon' but also 'Las Carlyon Vegas.'
